Counseling Psychologist: Counseling

Rating: 3.5/5 (2 ratings)
Introduction
It is most important to genuinely care about people who have difficulties in their life so that you won't be sitting there judging but rather helping.

Job Function
I enjoy having the authority to give advice which helps improve my clients lives. I love to help and see positive and healthy change, but there are some clients who think I'm just a shrink and are very skeptical. This is the difficult part; to try to break the ice with clients who thinks they do not need help.

Lifestyle
I work hard and play hard too, but one's happiness depends on how well one manages his/her time and balances social life with love life and career. This career is good for people who are very interested in dialoging with others. Curiosity and focus are important qualities to have and hours and location all depend on where you live and who you work with. I work 8 hours a day and usually my clients like to come in times between after lunch and before dinner, so late afternoon.

Additional Information
It's a respecatble career.
