IntroductionI rock in the morning, I rock in the evening, and I rock in the afternoon. My whole life revolves around hard, dense, heavy amazing rocks. Rocks have been here before me and they will be here after me; with every day there is something new to learn about them. I work outdoors most of the time and that is a big plus. I get to see the earth in its simplest form. The best geologists would get lost in rocks.

The movement of earth's rocks and the activity of the earth's plates plays a big part of some geologists lives. Some choose to have careers with the government or the oil and gas industry.
