Actor/Actress: "Lights, camera, action."

Rating: 2.5/5 (4 ratings)
Introduction
"To be or not to be, that is the question." Acting is an exciting career and also a very difficult one. With any job you must think through it and ask one thing, "Will you love it 10 years from now, 20, 30, and so forth?" The best piece of advice that I have been given about acting came from my mentor. Acting is one of the oldest professions alive.

Job Function
The most enjoyable thing and the most hated thing about my job are one of the same. The slight fear you get before you are in front of an audience. It's exciting and terrifying...you can't get that feeling from anywhere else.

Lifestyle
It's not work if you love it. The hours can be very long; it takes however many takes a director thinks you guys need. The great thing is that the locations change all the time. So if you like to travel and you have the will you can succeed.

Additional Information
I would like to leave off with another quote. "Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift: that's why we call it the present." So live and love life.
