Court Reporter: Dot Your Ts... Wait a Minute
Be impeccable. Law is about details, and those details have to be recorded by someone who is up to the task of being accurate and precise. It's a big responsibility transcribing legal affairs. Court Reporter: Song "Danger Zone"
You have to be a bear for detail. And you have to be able to focus completely on what you are doing. If you are editing transcripts after the fact, you have to make sure that anyone looking at your work knows exactly what is taking place in what you have written. If you are doing real-time transcription or recording, you have to make the quality of your recording or transcription top notch.
