Design: Pierre Barnard Jr. (Late Night with Conan O'Brien)

Graphic Designer: Be Your Own Boss
If you’re planning on being a graphic designer, you will most likely be self-employed, doing freelance work. That is not to say that you cannot get a salaried position, you can, but it is a very competitive field and finding a job will be difficult. Finding freelance work will be much easier, especially if you’ve been compiling a good portfolio.

Animator: Paid to Make Cartoons
If you draw, if you are looking for a way to make a career out of your ability, animation is a great way to go about it. It’s a lot of fun and the finished product is usually something you can be proud of. Animation can sometimes be tedious, but no more so than any other job.

Interior Designer: Working on the Walls
You must be able to combine pragmatism and aesthetics on a daily basis. Knowing design is not the aspect of designing a space, you must have a breadth of knowledge in: architecture, electrical engineering, carpentry, textiles, and financial planning. In all honesty, being called an interior designer is a complete misnomer. We should be called interior-home- office-public space- design financial planners. Unfortunately, that doesn't flow so well in conversation.

Graphic Designer: Quality Creation
Many artistic people entering the work force now are eager to express their creativity. Graphic design is a career where you can do this. It isn't always creative, and not all of the projects meet your interests, but the overall capability to have a steady income and regular hours, while using your taste and imagination is good.
