Ball State: What College is all about!
First off, BSU is amazing. Now that we got that out of the way, we can get to the rest of the stuff. If you are split between BSU, IU or Purdue, I would take BSU any day of the week. I originally chose BSU because of their education program, but ended up changing my major. However BSU has more than education and nursing. It has a lot to offer! If you are a student that likes to stay in your room all day long, not go out and make new friends - what college is all about - then don't go he...

Ball State: Parking Fees > Tuition
As a senior in high school, Ball State University seemed like a great university. It has great technology and a great teacher's education program. However, after being here for three years the university's true colors have been revealed.

Ball State: Waste of Money
I chose BSU because I have family here and in the end I would have less to pay back to my loans after graduation. BIG mistake! Students who want the most, whether it is in Greek life, or a part-time job, STAY AWAY FROM BSU! The economy here sucks right now, so many people are unemployed and no one is hiring. Also, most majors do not accommodate for lots of students' needs. Like dieting, good luck on dorm food! Or maintenence, my roommate flushed her cell phone on accident on Jan. 10th,...

Ball State: big surprise
When choosing a college to attend, probably one of the most important aspects to think about are the areas in which the university is actually well known for. If you have a major in mind, then thats great but you should also keep this in mind for your intended minors as well since I have never known a single freshmen who didn't chang their major at least once. Personally, I was a TCOM (telecommunications) major when I first started out which is exactly why I picked Ball State over IU, Purd...

Ball State: I'm ready to transfer
The campus may seem big at first, but all the buildings are one central area, and you can walk from one end of campus to the other. The cost is fairly affordable. So far, I have not really been challenged in any of my classes. If you are an independent thinker, Ball State would not be the best choice. Also, if you are very unique or different, you'll feel alone here.

Ball State: BS University
Oh where to begin...but I'll try to make this short since most people aren't big readers, lol. I am an Education Major at Ball State in Muncie, Indiana and I have come to learn that the Teacher's College especially does not care about the students' needs. For example, you literally have to tell a student, "I'm sorry I can't meet with you after school today because I have all this other work [busy work that does not help my career] to do." And that makes me so unbelieva...
