Dartmouth: College on the Hill
If you get bored easily, are into nature or don't mind a scenic backdrop over bright city lights, and are a type A student, and enjoy partying as much as you do studying, then Dartmouth is surely the place for you.

Dartmouth: A great place
The best way to figure out if Dartmouth is for you is to stay a night with students. The admissions office will hook you up with a student, no problem, and you will know for sure if it's the right place for you the next day. You can do this at almost every college, but I think Dartmouth is slightly unique in how difficult it is to understand why everyone loves it so much without experiencing it yourself.

Dartmouth: Dartmouth is sweet
I wanted a small liberal arts school or an ivy. I love the outdoors and I like tight knit communities where you are always meeting new people. Pretty much I knew this place was sweet... in every aspect... I wanted to go to this school since freshman year of high school and it has surpassed my expectations. It really has everything anyone could want out of a college experience- there really isnt any reason to stay away from this school... really.... there is something for everyone...

Dartmouth: A Truly Great College
Dartmouth is a phenomenal place. With a gorgeous campus, bright students, caring professors who are brilliant, and a healthy social life, Dartmouth was (and is) everything I wanted in a college. The liberal arts focus of Dartmouth has been tremendous in expanding my capacity to think and solve problems, as well as to relate to other people. Dartmouth: Dartmouth
I would definitely make the same choice. Dartmouth is for people that work hard and play hard, so its not the place for you if your top priority is sleep. My greatest challenge was getting used to a new, more hectic pace of life.

Dartmouth: Be prepared for the cold...
The change in weather was a big adjustment for me. Coming from 70-degree winters to -20 degree winters – I’m not going to sugar coat it – that was rough. You don’t quite get used to it – but you just kind of accept it, but the winters are pretty serious here.

Dartmouth: Lots of Tradition
I’m a sociology major – which is kind of the study of everything. I like it – I think its more just common sense and I’m not necessarily verbal, not necessarily mathematical. I just like observing people. So, I sit around campus and do that a lot, so I think it’s a great major for me. I want to use it to go into Advertising and Marketing – that’s my main field of interest. I chose Dartmouth because I live in a suburb outside of Indianapolis and its kind of rural and coming form the Midwest I had no idea what East Coast living would be like. Dartmouth: Profs are really smart
The Professors I’ve had are some of the smartest people I’ve ever met.I really don’t feel as cutthroat as the other Ivy League schools. If I went to somebody in my class and was like I don’t understand this, could you help me out with this, I’m sure they wouldn’t be like If I help you out then you’re gonna get my job. It’s not like that. People are pretty friendly.

Dartmouth: Opportunities Galore
I Chose Dartmouth for the academic and athletic opportunities they provide me with here. I was recruited by a bunch of Ivy League schools – came out and visited Dartmouth, in the winter, it was about 0 degrees and -20 at night, but I fell in love with the campus and the people here.
