College Overview: DePaul

I believe that the bigeest piece of advice I can give to a high school student is to make sure that they have the "expenses" set aside for school. I came in not even knowing I was going to have to take a loan. Students who are eager to learn and love the attention they get with small classes, should consider going to DePaul.

DePaul: Depaul University
Depaul is a great school for anyone who loves the city life. There are tons of things to do because you have free access to the L trains and the CTA buses which can take you almost anywhere in the city. This college doesn't really have a college campus type feel because it is in the city so those looking for a typical college experience should stay away from this school. DePaul: City Atmosphere
I choose DePaul because of the city atmosphere. When you're on the campus you don't even really realize you're on a college campus because it is stuck in the middle of shopping areas, bars, and restaurants. So if you like the city life, this is definitely the school for you. Don't expect big frat houses everywhere or even a football team, because DePaul has neither. DePaul: Chicago's School
I chose DePaul because it is the largest Catholic school in the nation, because it has a huge LGBTQ community, and because I love Chicago. The kind of student that should stay away from DePaul would be one that would desire a more rural environment with a quiet campus.
