College Overview: Furman

Furman: Furman = Amazing
Furman is an amazing environment. It is the size of some big high schools and I really like that. You get to know professors on both a professional and personal level. If you are a hardcore partier, I would say to stay away from Furman. We do have parties, yes, but at times it is really hard to go out. Furman: Knowledge On All Levels
The best advice I can give is summed up quite nicely by a T-shirt in the book store: "Furman - Where Your Best Hasn't Been Good Enough Since 1826." If you want to excel at Furman, you are going to have to work at it. There is no way around it. But you get out what you put in, so most of the work is well worth it.
