Georgia State University was my first pick for a college that I wanted to attend once I graduated high school. A friend of mine mentioned the school at lunch one spring day in 2004 and I decided to see what the unviversity was about. I checked the campus out in November 2004, was accepted in January 2005 and arrived as a freshman August 18 2005. I have lived on campus all my time here (as I do not live in Atlanta) and have had roommates both good and bad. School wise it's been pretty easy. My...

GSU - Georgia State: Georgia State University
GSU isn't your normal college campus. I've lived on and off campus in the 4 years I've been there. If you enjoy the city, go for it. But beware, bums are everywhere. I would not recommend GSU to kids looking for a campus that is all put together.

GSU - Georgia State: The good and the bad...
The biggest thing that Georgia State University has going for it is that it is located right in the middle of Downtown Atlanta. Starbucks and Atlanta's concert venues are what attracted me to GSU. It's a great place to go if you're interested in city life.
