Hofstra: Hofstra Pride
Hofstra is an amazing shcool, I was worried about attending for a while as the reviews online did not exactly have the best advice. But after being here for my first semester, I'm glad to say i LOVE hofstra and I attended this school. If your idea of fun is studying all day and never socializing then hofstra is not for you, but if you enjoy the beach, city, night life and some work to keep you leveled then hofstra is the school of you. :)

Go here. This is an amazing place with amazing people. You never get bored because there is always something to do. If you don't like diversity don't come here.

Hempstead is a bad town to live in, Hofstra is sourrounded by gates and highways.

Hofstra is a wonderful school, no matter what your major or interest. It's diverese, huge, and lot of activities available on campus for you apart from academics. As an international student i thought it would be hard for me to settle in and start a new life, but once i came to Hofstra I felt right at home.. :)

Hofstra University is a wonderful school with a wide range of opportunities open to you, regardless of your specific major. During the course of my first year, Hofstra has become like a second home to me. It is a beautiful campus. The people are very helpful. School spirit is tremendous! Hofstra: Hofstra Advice
The biggest piece of advice I would give to a high school student that wants to come to Hofstra is just to get involved with everything that our school has to offer. There are an incredible amout of clubs and other types of extracurricular activities that are available to the students here. I chose Hofstra mainly because of the reputation of their school of education. The academics here are very strong and I know when I graduate that a degree from Hofstra is respected in my future career.

I would tell students that they should visit the school several times before making their final decision. Impulsive decisions lead to transferring out of your first choice of school because you do not know what it has to offer you. If the school you chose on an impulse does not have everything you thought it did, you will not stay. Hofstra: Hofstra: It Only Sucks a Little
Hofstra is unique because it's close to New York City, but still has the feel of a "campus" school and everything you'd want from a traditional college experience in terms of social life.

Hofstra: Get Out There and Find the Fun!
I decided to go to Hofstra for several reasons. The first and most common here is that Hofstra has unbelievable financial aid and offered me a lot of money to choose this school...but luckily, that's only a small part of what I've loved about my experience here. This is a bastion for liberal and performing arts: music, art, poetry...if you want to be creative and think outside the box socially, you'll love it here. If you have difficulty accepting different lifestyles (homosexual, etc.) you will not enjoy it.
