MSOE: MSOE
MSOE is not your typical college. If you want a school that you can coast through and just party, this is not the place for you. I came to MSOE because of its reputation for being a great engineering school. I was interested in the Biomedical Engineering program, so far its going great.

MSOE: MSOE
The academic program here is very good. Most professors are very helpful and understanding. Someone who is interested in succeeding in an engineering career should attend. However, the dropout rate is high, so make sure you are committed.

MSOE: MSOE is the last place you want to be
I chose to go to MSOE because I wanted to be in the perfusion program. The truth was that you just need a BS degree from anywhere, contrary to what the admissions man told me. If you're not sure if engineering is for you, do not attend. A lot of people quit after their first year.

MSOE: Application-oriented education; MSOE grads get good jobs
If you are willing to commit to a major right away and can tolerate below-average social scene, this might be the school for you. MSOE has an extremely high placement rate and very good starting salaries for graduates.

MSOE: MSOE - Decide now, party later
If you believe you can come here you need to consider exactly what your priorities are. Partying is not something that happens often. You commit to studying, otherwise your days are numbered.

MSOE: Looking back
Throughout high school I was always told that I needed to think about the future and what I wanted my career to be after I received my high school diploma. MSOE does this with their curriculum and guidance services. This school is for people who know where they want to go and what it is going to take to get there. Students with visions of their future will understand that a plan for reaching that future is required. That's what MSOE is great at, helping you see define a future and potential ...

MSOE: MOZEE
Come to the Milwaukee School of Engineering if you want a killer career! There is more quality social life here than might apprear, I promise. Milwaukee School of Engineering is in a primo location. If you come here make sure to live up the possibilities. I choose MSOE because it hands down has the best Architectural Engineering program in the country. Anyone can fit in and make it at MSOE, even the most social. However, if you are 110% sure you need a huge college MSOE is obviously not the...

MSOE: Engineering at its finest
If you want a small engineering school, this is the only one to consider. If you are lazy and don't like to do work then this is not the school for you. Focus is on engineering not gen-ed classes like English and Humanities. MSOE gives out a lot of financial aid to students every year based on your ACT score, and after your first year if you get good grades, they will increase your scholarships.

MSOE: Preparation
Great school, gets you prepared for the real world. It is a lot of work, but well worth it because you feel well above anyone else when you start working after school. It is not a school to go to if you are just interested in partying, though there is plenty of it out there. You also won't get much sleep going here. If you are looking to be an Engineer this is a great school to go to!

MSOE: A Real Education
MSOE is a real world education. You learn and apply real applications. The classes are laid out for you from your freshman year on and can be adjusted to each student, when and if necessary. I chose to go to MSOE for its small community atmosphere, the faculty to student ratio and the size of the campus. Those looking to party and breeze through 4 years should look else where, those looking for a real education should focus on MSOE.

MSOE: The Real MSOE
If you are coming to college for a good time and to party, do not come to MSOE, however, if you want a quality education and don't mind long hours of studing then MSOE is the school for you.

MSOE: Nerds at Heart
I am no stranger to hard work. I am a sophmore right now and this last summer, I worked 60+ hours a week being a night stocker (in a grocery store) and manual labour on contract. That short introduction was just to let the possible students know that I know what real work is. I put in about 80+ hours of school-work a week now that I am back in college. Last year I only had time to party 3 times in the whole year!!

MSOE: The Truth about MSOE
If you're looking at MSOE, know that at MSOE you're going to have to work really hard, and there won't be a lot of opportunities for partying. The fraternities and sororities aren't very big here, and it really isn't a party school. If you're looking for classes that are taught by awesome professors who genuinely get to know and care about every student, and you're willing to work hard, then this is the place for you. If you're looking for a party school with a...

MSOE: Great school which provides an even greater career outlook.
MSOE is a great academic college. Those who require on-site party scenes or sports other than hockey and basketball would best look elswhere. MSOE is fast paced. MSOE will get you through an engineering program in 4 years (they guarantee it) where as in larger schools such as those in the UW system it may take 5 or even 6 years to graduate just because of class availability. Also understand that in the UW system you must be accepted into the engineering programs by the associated department ...

MSOE: Not for Pansies
If you have a dream that puts fire in your belly, and gets you out of bed in the morning, and it's related to engineering, business, or nursing, you'll make it here. SIMPLE. If you don't have a DREAM, you had better get one by the end of freshman year or GO HOME AND GET OUT OF EVERYBODY ELSE'S WAY. I came here because I want to be an engineer. I want to be an engineer because I will always be able to support my family, and I will do it by keeping people alive, safe, comfortable, ...

MSOE: Hard Work Load
MSOE is a hard school meaning there is a lot of work done. MSOE has trimesters which are 10 weeks long with 1 week of finals. A lot is learned during the 10 weeks. Also, at MSOE, you start off in your major core classes. Most other schools have you take the basics before getting into your major your junior year, but here your first quarter you are already started in your major. If you are unsure if engineering is for you, then maybe this school isn't for you because there aren't to...

MSOE: MSOE Sucks: Don't go here don't go here... please don't go here
If you want any kind of social life while in college – avoid MSOE at all costs!! This school is filled with introverted nerds who enjoy only two things in life: video games and school. And in that order, too. I transferred into MSOE. It has a good academic reputation, which is why I was drawn to it. Luckily, I transferred from a college nearby, so I still have the opportunity to still have a half-way normal social life. In terms of advice for others, I would only recommend MSOE if you enjoy...
