Should like to study, but should like to enjoy the weather and sports as well. Students that are interested just in parties should not come to Stanford.

Stanford: Greatest School No Exceptions
No questions asked, Stanford is the best place possible to go to school. From the grassy knoll by the two Olympic sized heated outdoor swimming pools, to the Spanish-styled Quad and the hiking in the foothills, its the most breathtaking campus in the nation.

Stanford: Open-minded and community-based
Perhaps the biggest adjustment I had to make at Stanford was coming to terms with just being average. A lot of people who come to Stanford were either at the top of their class or were nationally ranked in something (sports, music, arts...) but at Stanford, you just become one of the crowd. There is a laid back atmosphere, like the California like “Chill Dude” atmosphere.

Stanford: A Melting Pot...
When you hear the U.S. is a melting pot, I believe that Stanford just embodies that idea of a melting pot. There’s so much diversity on campus. There’s so many different ethnicities, cultures, religions. Diversity is very abundant at Stanford.

Stanford: Athletics here rock
I think there’s a huge misconception about the diversity or lack there of it at Stanford. And that the Univ. actually prides itself on its diversity in terms of race, ethnicity, socio-economic background, geographic locale in the U.S. International students, and the fact that all these students come from such a variety of backgrounds really contributes to a real richness in the student population.

Stanford: Gotta be Open Minded here...
The average Stanford student is a hard working committed intellectual. In many ways these students are committed to something. They have what we call “intellectual vitality.”
