Tulane University: Can't Beat It
Do not come here if you cannot balance your work and partying. I am a freshman and I find myself in a serious academic situation along with many of my friends and acquaintances. Tulane does not get the credit it deserves for party school points, you will party your ass off 7 days a week here. Tulane University: In a Class By Itself
Tulane is a school seeped--but not buried--in tradition, from creole catfish and gumbo fridays to the annual Rocky Horror Halloween. If you like to party Tulane is the school for you, but if you prefer a more academic enviornment, you might want to look somewhere else. Tulane is in New Orleans...the party capital of the country. Tulane University: OK school in the coolest city in the world
The worst possible mistake some Tulane students make, is to get absorbed by the greek scene on Broadway, and never see the city of New Orleans. Recently, after leaving Tulane because of Hurricane Katrina, I realized just how lucky I am to go to school in such an amazing city. Tulane University: Learn a Lot, Party a Lot
Tulane is a great school. Classes are interesting and not too tough and there's always something to do around campus or at the bars, which are practically on campus.

Tulane University: Pace yourself....
To be honest, I don’t think Tulane attracts the best crowd of people from NY. I had never even been to the deep south before. I had been to Orlando and Miami, but that doesn’t really count.

Tulane University: People Here Actually Study (some of the time)
I walked into my dorm and we’re loading and unloading out stuff all day long and I was just sopping wet because it was just so hot and so humid and I was just thinking, “Who could live here in this place it is so hot, right?”

Tulane University: Friendly People
I wanted to try something new because I’ve been in the North my whole life and Tulane was a good school down in the South. It is very easy to meet people here. People are extremely friendly and ready to get to know someone new.

Tulane University: Lots of Northeners
Most people that come to Tulane are Northerners, not from around here remotely so the party scene here in a lot of ways, the Tulane scene is kind of restricted to campus or on Broadway, which is right next to campus and it’s not as hard core as the rest of New Orleans. Drinking is a big deal, hard liquor is kind of a big deal over here.

Tulane University: Be Careful of the Dorms....
It is pretty much a whole party from I would say the week before Mardi Gras to Mardi Gras. You’re pretty much going out every night like staying up until 10am, it’s amazing, you sleep during the day, you party at night. The culture is crazy and everyone’s so warm during that time.
