University of Florida is a lot of things. It is a great school, in a great city, with good academics, hot girls, a great greek life, fun parties, and of course, THE GATORS.

UF - University of Florida: The Time of Your Life
Honestly, I didn't want to come to UF. It was my back-up back-up back-up school. How did I end up here? Well New York was too cold and NYU was too expensive, New Orleans seemed to out there for me, and Miami well... again too expensive. UF is the best school in the state of Florida (don't just take my word for it, look at the stats) and it's cheap. This school is huge so anyone who is looking for an intimate setting should not come here.

UF - University of Florida: The BEST College Experience
I wanted a school that was big with all types of people. I also wanted a school with tons of tradition and great sports. If you want a great education from a school with great teams to cheer on year round (2006 National Basketball Champions) then the University of Florida is for you. If you want a quiet and party free atmosphere then UF is not for you!

UF - University of Florida: Home Away From Home (Nothing But The Best Memories!)
Study hard. I graduated in 1994 so the requirements were not as stringent as they are now. I transferred to UF my Jr. year. I doubt I would have been accepted at that point if I hadn't already been accepted out of high school. The classes are no tougher than most universities, but with 42,000 students and a major social scene 7 days a week, it's very easy to get carried away in the partying and social life and neglect your grades. If you have no discipline, UF isn't for you.

I chose UF because it was free. Since coming here I have learned that: there are some students who should not come to UF, some who shouldn't go anywhere else, and some that it just wouldn't matter where they went because they're just here for the 13th grade. UF - University of Florida: Yes... Gators do bleed Orange and Blue
First you need to make sure that you can deal with a school that has way more students than your high school. UF is a big campus and about 45,000 students so your classes will be large. If big school intimidate you then UF is not your college. I chose UF because although it is huge I like the idea of a big school and your classes do get smaller when you get further into your major. UF - University of Florida: Top Notch Academics
I attended what we call here at UF, Preview. It’s an orientation to student life here at the University, and the people at Preview are just so friendly, they’re so informative, they help you get all the info that you need to survive your first semester here at UF. The football culture is year-round. The season may be from August to Jan. 1st but it’s all year round here. Football players are treated like Gods.

UF - University of Florida: The Social School
UF is Football. Everything in the town is orange and blue, everything is Gators. Everywhere you go there’s a Gator shop. Everyone’s wearing Gator Gear all the time. People paint their chests orange and blue, paint our face orange and blue, people hold signs, run around. If you hate football then you’re at the wrong school. Football is just such a big part of the University of Florida.

UF - University of Florida: This is the best choice!
Orange and Blue everywhere. You cannot pass by this University during a gameday without noticing how incredible the school spirit is. You eat, live and breathe Gators. We have a saying here that we bleed orange and blue and literally if you cut me, you’ll see orange and blue.

UF - University of Florida: Bang for your Buck school
Football games are insane. Just being in the stadium when the game starts, they have the opening act which is just amazing. They have Gators chomping at the swamp. It gives me the chills every time, probably because I’ve been here for so many years. I can’t imagine being anywhere else on a game day. I think I’ll probably still come back here every Saturday for games after I’m an alumni.

UF - University of Florida: A Gator Forever
I have been attending Gator games since before I could walk. It’s kind of a tradition to go to University of Florida. My dad always said he would sign the check for nowhere but here. Gator Growl is the largest student-run pep rally before homecoming. We had Bill Cosby here, all kinds of stuff has been happening.
