UMN Twin Cities: "Golden" Gophers
If youre considering the U, be ready to be super independent. I chose the U because I wanted a school w/ a really good academic rep, a big city, and a really fun social scene. It most definatley has all three. If youre already hesatent about leaving home for school, avoid the U.

UMN Twin Cities: I like the U of M
This is a huge school with tons of people, and I wanted to be a little fish in a big pond. You are right in minneapolis and there is always something very cool going on. If you don't enjoy meeting lots of new people and if you dislike fun, I would suggest a smaller school because you are thrown into situations where you can make tons of friends and no matter who you are there is always something fun to do here.
