Amazing academics, gorgeous campus and great athletics. Don't come here unless you are willing to work your butt off. Notre Dame: The good, the bad, and the ugly
I came to Notre Dame for the same reason half our school did, because I grew up as a Notre Dame fan. For me there was really no other option. Basically half the people at Notre Dame party and the other half doesn't. By party I mean that people booze pretty hard, bars kinda suck, but theres generally a party goin on and the bars are kinda lax on the whole ID thing. If you are considering Notre Dame, make sure you research it well! It's a Catholic school with conservative policies and traditions. I choose it because of its good name and reputation, and I grew up watching Notre Dame football in my house. The biggest piece of advice I can give is to people considering ND is to visit. Notre Dame has something special about it that can't fully be described; it can only be felt.
