UR - University of Rochester: Rochester Rules!
After visiting 22 different colleges, I stepped onto the U of Rochester campus and knew I belonged here. I chose this school for its uniqueness. It is a University that is focused on research, but all of its students are part of a College of Arts and Science as well. In addition, the school pretty much allows you to take the courses you would like. This allows for great academic freedoms and tremendous research oppurtunities available from the University. UR - University of Rochester: Avoid Rochester like the plague
If you like cold weather, then you may like this school. This school does not really excell in anything particular, and quite frankly would not be worth attending even if it did. Although to give credit where credit is due, the engineering department, I have found, treats their students very well. The people in the department are extremely nice and helpful.

UR - University of Rochester: Ivy League for the Lazy
The University of Rochester is not you average school. The pamphlet says you can take whatever you want; you can even make up your own major! There are hundreds of clubs to become a part of and you can start your own club relatively easily if none of the existing ones appeal to you. Sounds good, right? Don't be fooled.
