WSU: Things You Might Wanna Know Before Choosing WSU
I seriously recommend visiting before ever deciding to go there. Being used to a small city life I got quite a hard time getting used to the rural setting. Trust me when I say it's in the middle of nowhere, I mean it. Looking for a decently ok school with tons of school spirit? This is it. But please be warned that living here can be harder than you expect. I'll get to that later. Also prepare to get sore legs and toes. Campus is right on top of the hill, and most residence halls and houses are ...

WSU: Great School!!
This is a great school! You should come here if you are interested in any of the hard sciences, and particularly if you are interested in communications. We have a great communication school.

WSU: Challenging
I think that anyone looking for a challenge and wanting to learn a lot should choose this university. I chose to go here because of the Criminal Justice program that they have. It's a great program. I think those who are looking for an easy education should not come here. I have seen that that mentality doesn't work very well here.

WSU: All Dressed Up and Nowhere to Go
The biggest piece of advice i would give to any high school students considering washington state university would be to visit the campus in the winter time in order to properly experience just how awful the weather is during the winter months on the Palouse. This place is an icebox with fierce winds and cloudy skies, outside is awful starting in late november in this place. If this is the only school a student as a college applicant was accepted to, don't come here, go to a community coll...

WSU: Why not to go to Washington State
I chose Washington State because I thought it would be a great place to party and to get the education that I needed. Though, after figuring out the system and realizing what was necessary, I found out that the atmosphere that I was surrounded by at Washington State was quite a deterrent to the education that I was trying to get. If you are mainly focused on getting a great education you should really think about not going into the greek system.

WSU: Your Only Valid Choice...
If you are 90% sure of what you actually want to study in college (let's face it, you can't really be 100% sure of what you want to do at 18 years old, but you can have some direction - the next 5 years of your life are going to change dramatically - mostly for the good), make sure that you apply to colleges that specialize in your area. For instance, WSU is most noted for its awesome Pharmacy Program, it's broadcasting/communications degree, agriculture, interior design, nursing pr...

WSU: WSU is the place to be.
I have always wanted to go to WSU. I went to a community college for 2 years and then I transferred here. It was the best decision of my life. If big school life scares you, I would choose WSU. It is just big enough to feel like you are important, and is just small enough to make you feel like you belong. It is good for people from big cities and from small farm communities. I guess stay away from WSU if you don't like nice people and a great atmosphere.
