WVU: WVU through the eyes of someone who's seen it all
Don't take choosing a school lightly. I am only here because it is free. WVU is a decent school, but if you want to get anything done steer clear. The drop out rate due to drinking and drug use is outrageous. You can say it won't happen to you, but those will be your famous last words.

Biggest piece of advice I would give anyone considering WVU is always make time for your homework. I know as boring as that sounds but WVU has some banging night life and I've seen many people get swept up in it way too many times and have failed out or just continue to stay, fail, and party. If you love to party and have a good time. This is the school for you. Great time. Lots of stuff to do. The kind of person who should stay away from this school...people that dont like to have a good time.

The biggest piece of advice that I could give a student is to balance your partying with your drinking because you definitely don't want flunk out after your first year like half my friends did. If your going into engineering def. enjoy your first year by taking some easy cluster classes mixed with a couple hard classes so you can enjoy the party scene because after that your pretty much an engineering nerd.
