Nothing Better than ASU

Introduction
First of all, I must advise, TAKE CLASSES BEGINNING AFTER 11AM-you won't get a lot of sleep here ever. Now, there are two types of students that should stay away from ASU. The first kind of student is one that finds it hard to make friends. ASU is a very large campus, however, there is a very common "type" of person at this school-- the party person. If someone has trouble making friends and having fun, or just gets lonely easily, ASU is not for you. Many students that come from small, quiet places are given a sort of "culture" shock (since ASU is as big as a whole city). This "city" is very loud, very big and very active. The other type of student that should stay away from ASU is a student with no personal responsibility. The ASU atmosphere consists of many parties anywhere and everyday from dorm rooms to Greek Houses. If you know you won't wake up tomorrow for class because you'll be getting home at 3 or 4 am, this school is probabaly not for you. A student considering ASU should make sure they have personal discipline and care very much about succeeding in college.

Campus Life and Social Life
ASU is the center of Phoenix and Tempe, and all other surrounding city's social life. Since the campus is as big as a whole city, everything around here if made out FOR the students. The downtown and campus, as well as everything within 10 minutes, revolves around the Sun Devils. There are excellent parties here. Afterall, ASU has again been voted by Playboy as the #1 Party school in the nation. The sports games are so fun to attend as a spectator and team member. Football games are the best! Absolutely do not miss the USC game or the U of A game. There are over 500 clubs at ASU, anything from Handbags for Afghani women to Arizona Republicans. The weekends are insane. There is never a dull night at ASU, and in reality, it really doesn't matter whether it's the weekend or not, because people here go out Monday to Monday. ASU is definetly a party school with hot guys and hot girls. Advertisement
Academics
The Math department SUCKS. Although it is a huge department, the teachers are unreliable and really do not care for the students. The absolute best department is the Literature and Language department. The English 101-102 teachers are so fun and pretty easy. T.A.'s help you to get up your grades because teachers have way too much work load to help you. There are over 50,000 students at this university. There is not a heavy workload if you know how to write things down and wake up on time for class.

Student Body
About 80% of the students that I know are from California, and the next most popular place is from Ohio. The students here are hot and tan. Haha. They like to party, drink, and fake and bake. Year round, they wear flipflops because the weather is so amazing here.

In Closing...
Arizona is VERY cheap. You can get an apartment here from $450 a month. Everyone if really chill here, and the prices are GREAT!
