APSU Rules

Introduction
I chose APSU because of it's smaller size. When I visited campus, I not only fell in love with it's beauty, but the fact that I wouldn't be just a number. The campus atmosphere is so friendly and you never meet a stranger. There are roughly 9200 students on campus this fall. When looking at schools I encourage you to try a campus tour. Virtual tours on the web are great, but you need to see it in person to really get a feel for the school. Also request an academic appointment with your major. This is a great way to talk to someone in the area of your interest.

Campus Life and Social Life
Social & campus life are what you make them. My friends & I are here every weekend and hardly ever go home. We have so much fun. There is a Friday night movie with popcorn & pizza! (It's free.) We have an active greek life as well as a really active intramural life. You can play anything from ultimate frisboee to soccer! If there isn't an intramural activity you like, ask to start one! APSU also has different religious organizations as well. There is truly something for everyone. Advertisement
Academics
Our departments are great. I love the communications department and there is so much opportunity for you to get hands on access with them. Nursing & Education are two of the most popular majors and both have great programs! There is also a wonderful Physics program and some of our students have gone on to get paid to attend graduate school and done internships with NASA! How cool is that?
