My thoughts of the school I love
IntroductionI chose Baylor because of its outstanding faculty and staff that are ready and willing to help you in any way possible. Being the largest Baptist university in the world, it is very easy to find a professor who is willing to help you not only succeed in class, but also in the world. I love how we have an "open door" policy by our professors who are required to have at least 12 hours of office hours that students can drop by and ask professors about ANYTHING.
Campus Life and Social LifeWe have the best social scene. We have about 25 total national and local fraternities and sororities. About 25% of all of our students are in the Greek system. But if you find that greek life is not for you, we also have over 300 student organizations that will hopefully suit you perfectly, but if not, we encourage everyone to maybe start their own organization that fits that student perfectly.

AcademicsWe have great schools here at Baylor. None of them are bad, but the Engineering, and Business are phenomenal. These schools are nationaly ranked in the top twenty every year and only get better. Our professors are great and really personable and like to get to know their students minds, and hearts at the same time. I love talking to my professors about what the future could hold for me.
Student BodyThe "typical" Baylor student is a very bright, service oriented man or woman. We have every kind of person that you can find here, from National Merit Finalist, to no scholarships what so ever. The best part is that we are a "service based" university and that is what we really enjoy, and love to do. Waco is a great city and I have loved living here for the past twenty years and have loved the opportunities that Baylor has presented to me to really give back to the community.
In Closing...I have loved EVERY moment while i have been here at Baylor nad would not change one part of my College experience. You really do get to focus on your faith while you are in the classroom and that has been the most impactful part of my experience here at BU.
