The Untold Truth of BU
IntroductionIf you want to come to this school, it is sugested that you have deep pokets. I chose BU because of its reputation. It is a solid school, but much different from the inside - the one-time tour given when you visit doesn't really give you a true idea of what this college is like.
Campus Life and Social LifeThe social life here at BU is good if you like the traditional stuff: lots of parties lots of beer. As for the sports? Hockey rules over all. What you have to realize is that the most important part of the social life here are the cliques. Weekends are OK but there isnt much to do on-campus... but off campus, you're in Boston! So there's so much to do... shopping, clubs and partying. What can I say about BU's campus? The honest truth BU must stand for "Butt Ugly" -- the campus isnt much of a campus setting but more like a long street. New facilities, like the the workout center, make up for the eye sore called buildings.

AcademicsWorkload here at BU is challenging and the teachers are fair. BU has a strong Medical background and have many degrees and schools to choose from. The professors here are great but hard to find when in need... the one upside is that classes are never boring.
Student BodyStudents here are from all over the world, and there is a good mix of students - smart and party kids... Most are friendly, but again you have to be really careful to make friends fast when you come here, because all students they love to hang in groups.
In Closing...In closing, BU is a great school, but not for everyone (like any school, I guess).
