All About BG
IntroductionI chose BG cause my dad is a alumni so i got the in-state tution for the out of state student. They had my major - nursing which is a good program here. I would let any high school student to know that this is a great school to start your education. The kind of student that should stay away from this school are people that like big cities, cause BG is in the middle of no mans land.
Campus Life and Social LifeWell this is a college town - so in otherwords if there was no school here, then there would be no town. The town is filled with bars and club some are 18 and over and other are 21 and over. You can find what you like and what you do not like here in town. GREAT FOOD! The campus offers a bunch of club sports and team sports. In the fall I played women's lacrosse and in the spring semester I'm playing women's rugby. Tons of clubs and it is a lot of fun. The weekends are what you make out of it, you can stay in or go out and have the time of your life.
AcademicsSo far the academics are great. I have great professors and the work load is not hard, but it is not easy. I love the science department because there is always something going on.
Student BodyThe typical student is of the normal degree, a lot come from small towns around the state of Ohio. We have some from Michigan and some from other places but they are of the norm. We have students that are into everything music, sports, arts, drama, in other word you name it they got. If you do not fine something that you like you can start your own club and you will be amazed at how many people will join your club.
In Closing...BG is great - it can get cold at some time but your learn to dress warm. The people are fun and interesting and there is so much to do here.
