Hidden Greek School

Rating: 5/5 (64 ratings)
Introduction
If you're looking for a smaller size campus that still has alot to offer then this is a good school for you. I chose to go here because of that. Although the city of Peoria is smaller than I was used to, it still is very nice and has alot to offer if you have transportation.

Campus Life and Social Life
Campus life is pretty good. Everyone on campus is invoved in at least 2-3 activities. Greek Life is very big, much bigger than the school implies. There are parties most weekends(friday and saturday and some on thursdays. Sports are some what popular and soccer, basketball and baseball have decent attendance. But, if you LOVE football, don't consider this school because there is no team! Weekends on campus vary but there are always parties, movies and other activities going on. Also if you have transportation, there's other things to do in Peoria such as visit the river front, go to a movie, or the mall, ice skating, bowling, etc. Public transportation is okay, but it does take a long time to get places that way. If you're from a big city, Peoria will seem very small, but if your from a small town it will feel bigger and more exciting.

Academics
The engineering and business programs are the two major strong points of Bradley, but many other programs such as education, nursing and liberal arts are popular. Science and theatre classes are difficult to get into for non-majors. All classes are taught by professors, the work load is decent and classes size can range from 25-45 but can be as large as 100(in fine arts appreciation classes) and 15 or so in foreign language.

Student Body
Typical student works hard but also knows how to have a good time. Most students wear jeans and t-shirts around campus. The majority of students are from Illinois but there are many out-of-staters from all over the U.S. and the world. Most students spend their time in class, doing homework and spending time with their friends.

In Closing...
If you like smaller-ish towns, are interested in Greek Life, and want smaller class sizes, then Bradley is for you. Come vist and see for yourself what it's like if you can. That is the best way to tell if a school is for you.
