Brandeis is amazing!

Rating: 1/5 (16 ratings)
Introduction
I chose it because I went to the spring open house and stayed overnight with a student. The best way to know if you'll be happy at a school is if you spend time there and speak to actual students away from the watchful glare of an admissions office.
If you're a huge partier and are looking for frat parties every night, don't go to Brandeis. You'll be sorely disappointed.

Campus Life and Social Life
It's a very chill school. People do what they want...there's a little of everything. If you party, there are parties. If you like city life, people go into Boston. If you like food, Waltham is the unofficial restaurant capital of Massachusetts! I spent my weekends outdoors doing active things from paintball to kayaking to snowshoeing.
Sports aren't a big part of campus life. Intramural sports and frisbee pickup leagues are the most popular sporting events. I started the Badminton club, which is turning into a pretty popular group

Academics
Professors are great. I didn't realize how amazing they were until I started taking classes at other schools. The business program is absolutely AMAZING!

Student Body
We're the biggest collection of high school dorks you'll ever meet. Some of the most amazing people I've ever met in my life...people who are so smart that they can do anything with their lives. The people are really what make the school so great...there's no pretentiousness, very little clique-iness, and it's VERY friendly!

In Closing...
I LOVE BRANDEIS!
