BYU is the best!

Rating: 1/5 (51 ratings)
Introduction
BYU is a great university because it's not just an education like most other schools, it's an entire experience. It's one of the least expensive schools you can attend because of the tithing contributions. There is so much to do here - from rolling down library hill to attending concerts of all sorts, comedy groups, and free/cheap movies. The people here are awesome - not only the students, but also the professors. The entire campus has a good atmosphere to it and they really do everything they can to give you the best education out there. Look at their credentials - we are in the top tiers of everything important when looking for a school to attend.

Campus Life and Social Life
If you like sports, you will love BYU. You can buy an All-Sports pass for just $84, which gets you into every game and averages out to $4 per event. That's the cheapest deal you'll ever find. And our teams are good! The crowd is great, the players are better, and if your high school didn't win (much like mine) then it will be a nice refresher. If you like to just be social, Provo is also the town. It really is a college town. There are tons of places to eat and shop right off-campus and there are always events happening on-campus as well. Most events are either free or really cheap, and any given weekend you can find something to fill your interest. There are: school-sponsored concerts as well as freelance performers, movies of all types, comedy groups, dance, choir, band, orchestra, drama, hilarious and serious plays, date nights, etc. They also have great recreational facilities, including: racquetball, swimming, volleyball, basketball, golf, track, dance, wallyball, tennis, etc. It's an incredibly social atmosphere and you don't ever have to be bored.

Academics
You can't go wrong with a BYU education. All of the professors are excellent, and even if you don't find one you like there is usually another professor that teaches the same course that you will like. Both the professors and the T.A.'s have scheduled hours when they are available to work with you and they really do want you to come to visit them. When a problem arises, they try to find a solution that benefits you. BYU aims to not only give you material to get you through the class, but to help you succeed in life by teaching you things that really apply. It's the best education I have ever seen, which once again shows in our credentials from several reviews.

Student Body
The students at BYU are literally from countries all over the world and all states of the country. The community enjoys several cultures and several tastes. The students are modest, friendly, and upbeat. They like what's hip, but they also like what is good. There are connections up the whazoo! You'll love your peers here!

In Closing...
You'll love BYU! It really is the best campus in all the world because the world is our campus. If you're interested in travelling, it has one of the most expansive interning and study abroad programs in the world. But even if you don't go abroad, the world comes to you! Definitely check out BYU.
