Brown Town

Rating: 1/5 (90 ratings)
Introduction
Although you have ample time to choose your path, the sooner you can figure out what you want to concentrate in, the better. You give yourself more time to explore other interests withouth running into time constraints to complete your requirements. Enjoy your free time, but even when you just have to study the libraries have a social feeling as well. If you like to go out to clubs or parties 5 nights a week and sleep all day don't go to Brown. If you can find a balance between social and academic, go for it. Enjoy Brown; I did.

Campus Life and Social Life
The social life is decent, especially if you don't limit yourself to a certain group or "type" of friends. Explore! Get to know all kinds of people. Sports teams are hard working and competitive, however student support is below par. Get out and support sports teams and make a party out of it! Tons of clubs to join...get out there and get involved.
Academics
Each of the departments are interesting and unique. Brown is a great chance to get a well-rounded education from top faculty and lots of opportunities to learn from your peers.

Student Body
The student body is probably one of the most diverse in the nation.

In Closing...
Explore the city of Providence. One of the best mid-sized college towns on the east coast.
