Buck U Party Crew

Rating: 5/5 (55 ratings)
Introduction
I chose Bucknell because it seemed like a good environment for me to grow in as a person. I am definitly not very preppy, but a Polo has snuck into my wadrobe this semester. I have yet to wear it, but it's there. I am one of the few students that do not come from a money money money background, so it's been a bit of a challenge when my friends want to eat out every weekend. Stay away from this school if you get annoyed with preppy people.

Campus Life and Social Life
At first I hated the weekend here because I didn't go out and look for fun. Staying in the dorm drinking is only fun for the first two weekends, then you need to look elsewhere. The worst part about Bucknell is that people have not branched out from their halls so it can be a pain to get close to a lot of people. The best part is that there is a good chance that the people in your hall are cool.

Academics
Visiting professors generally suck. The education department seems easy, but the tests and papers are graded harshly. It seems that the engineers never sleep, and Calc is rough. Geology is NOT rocks for jocks in the section I was in, so beware.

Student Body
Even though there aren't toooo many of them on campus (the typical girl is a collar popping, pearl wearing, ugg wearing, hair straightening, giggling person) they stick out. I steer clear of these people. The rest of us stick together. The guys are pretty chill.

In Closing...
Blue and Orange sound like they clash, but Oranging-Out Sojka (the basketball stadium) is AMAZING to see!
