Pretty Sweet!
IntroductionThe school is a great value for what you get. We're strong in Engineering and Business, and really strong in Microbiology and Chemistry. If you're into the outdoors, any school in Colorado should be your dream school. It's not a huge school, but it's not small either at 25,000 students.
Campus Life and Social LifeThe best and worst thing about social/campus life depends on your perspective...the Greek System here is really weak in terms of support from the administration and students. I feel disappointed with what I expected a fraternity should offer a student and subsequently with what I didn't receive. Enough regret; there're still more parties each weekend than I've attended my whole three years here so far, and I'll never forget my first disbelief/amazement at how many blondes I saw just walking across the Plaza my first week here as a freshman.

AcademicsMicrobiology, Engineering, Chemistry, and Business have a lot to offer for your dollar. The workload is really hard in the first three, and business is something I just never saw as hard. Professors are good, bad, and ugly, but it's unnecessary to show which ones are good or bad. Students survey the course and the teacher at the end of each semester, and the statistics are available online so that you can avoid that which is unwanted. The TAs in the technical fields tend to come from overseas, and usuallly bring a heavy accent and a lack of understanding of the English language along. That's something that the student body is trying to change by implementing more strict speaking requirements.
Student BodyThe typical student is from Colorado, into the outdoors, and athletic. The student recreation center is really good quality, and caters to a tremendous number of students each day. We care about our health/vanity! We're really laid back compaired to CU, and always willing to make new friends.
