Campus is huge
IntroductionThe campus is so big I got really lost the first time I came here. But I loved it, just seeing all the people walking around, it’s a beautiful campus.
Campus Life and Social LifeThere are a lot of great classes here at Cornell. Professors Moss teaches Pysch 101 and he’s been on Oprah Winfrey, so he’s pretty famous. Most of my professors have no idea who I am. There are a few smaller classes like all freshman have to take a writing seminar which only has like 15 people. But the professors have office hours so if you need help you can talk to them. But it’s not very personal.

AcademicsGreek life is really big here at Cornell. It’s pretty much the only, it’s the focus of social life, at least for freshman and sophomores. The bars are kind of strict on ID’s. But Greek life is awesome. There’s always frat parties, there’s stuff going on, there’s mixers and things like that. The bars will always ID you. Most freshman don’t go to the bars. You don’t need to have an ID to have fun at Cornell because mostly you go to frat parties anyway.Even if you’re not in a fraternity or sorority, you’re always welcome at parties. You don’t have to be a member of the Greek community to go out and Cornell sponsors lots of fun events. They have movie night, a lot of sober activities.
Student BodySlope Day is so much fun, it’s the best day of the year. Last year I got up at 8 in the morning and we used my roommates door as a beer pong table. It’s crazy drinking and the slope gets packed with people. This year, we’re having Snoop come for a concert. Last year we had Kanye West and some other people. It’s so much fun.We have homecoming, we have tailgate parties. Everybody goes to the game. The sororities and fraternities always have formals and date parties which are pretty big events.Slope Day is the big traditional day at Cornell.
