Introduction
If you get bored easily, are into nature or don't mind a scenic backdrop over bright city lights, and are a type A student, and enjoy partying as much as you do studying, then Dartmouth is surely the place for you.

Campus Life and Social Life
Social life at Dartmouth is what you make of it. Most people are involved in Greek Life, so it ends up being the central hub for social events on campus for parties and hanging out. Aside from that, Dartmouth is also a very outdoorsy school, so many kids are involved with the Outdoors club and go on hiking trips and things like that quite frequently. It is important to make the most of your experience by joining a few clubs or activities to serve as outlets to the tough academics. Anyone can sit in their room and study to get a 4.0 all day, but it is those people that find a good balance of studying and being social that get ahead of the rest, and at Dartmouth, you will find that most students are of this nature.

Academics
Dartmouth has world-class academics, which also means that it is a pretty tough school. Of course, this varies depending on the type of major you pursue, biology majors have it harder than geography majors, but relatively, courses here are tough. The school operates on a trimester system, so there are only 10 weeks per term, rather than the normal 14-16 weeks that most other schools have--> this means that there are constantly tests, quizzes, lab reports, and papers back to back to back. It moves extremely fast, but it is enjoyable and although it may seem impossible, it is incredibly rewarding to survive the terms. Professors, just at any school, range from aweful (in the sense that they are brillant, but can't teach worth a lick) to incredible! With that said, for every bad professor, there is usually a phenomenal TA that is willing to help get you through the material. If you come here, prepare to work, but know that you are getting 1 of the best educations in America and for that matter, it is worth the challenge.

Student Body
Although we are isolated in New Hampshire, and the weather can get pretty cold, Dartmouth does a great job in attempting to keep its student body happy, and in general, most students LOVE the school. On that note, you will HATE Dartmouth if you don't put anything into your own experience. You cannot come here and expect other people or the school to make fun for you. Although it is easy to have fun, you have to get out there and take action. There are tons of clubs and sports, parties/ social events every monday, wednesday, friday, and saturday, and loads to do, but it doesn't matter unless you participate.

In Closing...
In closing, Dartmouth is the best of the best and you should aspire to attend a school as notable as our institution. Being a Dartmouth student comes with a great sense of pride in that you are the top of the top kind of college student, and you can ride its name forever to unlock some of the best jobs available. Attending Dartmouth, contrary to popular belief, does not mean every class will have 20 kids, every professor will be your best friend, and that you will get into Harvard Med or Law automatically, but you certainly have a greater chance as these goals after having attended and succeeded in receiving a profound undergraduate education! =)
