Profs are really smart

Rating: 2/5 (18 ratings)
Introduction
The Professors I’ve had are some of the smartest people I’ve ever met.I really don’t feel as cutthroat as the other Ivy League schools. If I went to somebody in my class and was like I don’t understand this, could you help me out with this, I’m sure they wouldn’t be like If I help you out then you’re gonna get my job. It’s not like that. People are pretty friendly.

Campus Life and Social Life
I really enjoy living with 16 of my best friends in the fraternity. Any time I want do anything like go eat, or hang out and play beer pong, or whatever, I can just walk next door and be like lets go do this, so that’s always good. I lived off campus my whole sophomore year and that was a good experience, my apartment was pretty close to campus, so it wasn’t a trek to get to classes and everything.

Academics
Even before I was even thinking about coming to Dartmouth, I had heard a really pretty campus – the buildings are really nice, like old brick buildings. So when I got here it was pretty much what I expected. There’s the green in the middle of campus where everyone kind of hangs out if it’s a nice day out. It’s really terrible if you have to get up early in the morning and walk through 2 feet of snow to get to your class at the same time if you just sit back and look at it you’re like wow that looks really nice the way the snow falls on everything. Every season is so different in New England to me – like in the fall, people come up here just to come watch the leaves change. You just pay a really small amount at the beginning of the winter and you can just ski there all winter.
