Drury Rocks My Face Off!
IntroductionIf you like to have one-on-one contact with your professors, then Drury might be right for you. The tuition isn't cheep, but it is totally worth every penny.
If you don't like to work hard, then I'd go elsewhere. At Drury we work hard, but we also play hard to make up for it.
Campus Life and Social LifeDrury is a close-knit community. Usually that means you know what’s goings going on and when. There is never a dull moment in the dorms. When you go to college park (upperclassmen housing) and the quad (fraternity houses) you really get to meet people and have a good time.
Drury is a wet campus, and that makes nightlife fun.
The Greek community really likes to get everyone involved (even if you're not Greek). There is always something going on: fundraisers, social events, parties, dances, exchanges, etc.
SUB also rocks at getting the campus involved.

AcademicsDrury is known for the Arch., Business, and Pre-Med. programs, but everyone seems to be pretty happy about their classes and majors. Some teachers aren't so good, but they are usually just here for a short time.
The amount of homework really depends on the class, and there are no TA's at Drury. An actual professor will teach all of your classes.
If you have a question about an assignment, you are encouraged to e-mail your professor or even call them at home/cell.
Student BodyIt's nice to not have lecture halls and boring classes. Drury really prides itself on their small class size and I love it! My smallest class has 8 students and largest has 25!
The average student from Drury has a 26 on the ACT and a 3.8 high school GPA. We like to have fun, but also know when to study. We start the year with parties and don't stop till after finals, but in between going out, we hit the books hardcore. The two weeks before finals is torture, with projects due and papers to write, but it really makes you feel like your money is going somewhere. Who wants to pay to have a grade handed to you? By going here I know that my degree means something. It means that I survived four (or five) years of hard work and deserve to be paid accordingly.
In Closing...Go Greek!
Drury's Greek community is where the party (and study help) is at!
