Introduction
Our school is totally underrated. The professors are really awesome. They will always help you. If you are looking for a big drug school stay away there isnt a ton of that here. I chose it because it was basically the best bang for your buck in the state of Michigan. My biggest piece of advice is live in the dorms first semester and check out greek life.

Campus Life and Social Life
The social life here is totally awesome. The fraternities are always throwing a party so there is always something to do if you know the right people. The football games are always a blast even if we do get smoked. A lot of people from the dorms go home every weekend, but the off campus (within 1 block) social life is always kicking Thursday-Saturday. Intramural sports are so much fun. They are going on year round, the greeks play eachother, and dorms make teams and such. Advertisement
Academics
The workload is actually quite light compared to some other universities. I have 6-8 hours of homework a week with a full time course load. The professors are very helpful. They hold office hours almost daily.

Student Body
There is no real typical student at our school. It is very diverse which is a very good thing. It is kind of like a big melting pot.

In Closing...
Come to Eastern, its the best bang for your buck party, education, as well as otherwise. Its a great school with a great time.
