Looking for somplace loud? Look no further!

Introduction
If you are thinking about Eastern you should like a loud environment with a very diverse campus. I chose this school because it had the major that I wanted and it was one of the best schools for it. There really is not any particular type of person that you should stay away from, everyone is very nice and welcoming.

Campus Life and Social Life
The best place to go and have a social life on campus is to go to Normal St. There are always at least 7 or 8 really big parties. The football team isn't the greatest but going to the games is always the best! The student section is always big and really spirited, and the school provides transportation to the game if you need it. It’s always fun to take a trolley to the stadium. After football season the weekends can get pretty boring especially during the days, because there isn't too much to do on campus, but you can always just take a bus and ride into Ann Arbor and go hang out at the U of M campus. Academics
Overall the actual academic part of Eastern isn't too hard. The really good departments are anything that deals with the Teaching and International Business Majors. Most of the Professors are willing to help you outside of class if you are having problems with their classes, and if they can't help you they will help you find a tutor. The overall workload is hard enough to keep you busy and working hard but not hard enough that you feel too much stress.

Student Body
The typical student at Eastern is from Michigan and they are mostly from the areas around Ypsilanti. So a lot of students go home on the weekends or meet up with their friends from high school. Students here are into going out partying or going to the clubs.

In Closing...
Going to school in the Ann Arbor/Detroit area is a lot of fun. There is always something around that city that you can do, and it's a very exciting city.
