The Real FSU

Rating: 0/5 (0 ratings)
Introduction
If you value academics over the social scene, then you might like Ferris. I choose Ferris because it was one of a few schools that had my particular major. The type of student that should stay away from my school is one who can't take being in the middle of nowhere without a mall or many "real" places to shop/hang out without having to drive a distance to get to those places.

Campus Life and Social Life
Thursdays and Fridays are the major party days. But Saturday and Sunday can be a bit of a bore, but it's up to you to make the best of it. There's always a mini party going on somewhere, it's just who you choose to party with socially. There are plenty of clubs, sports, and organizations, so those can keep you occupied.

Academics
I am only a freshman, but so far everything seems to be pretty basic and easy-going. All of my professors are cool and here getting help in a subject is no problem. Here at Ferris you are not just a number, you're an actual person who can get the one on one help because it's available to you.

Student Body
Everybody here is pretty cool. There's always a place for someone to fit socially.

In Closing...
A college experience is what you make it. And I've become quiet found of my school. I would recommend having a car, that would make going out/having fun a lot easier. If you want to go to a school that has a closer relationship with its students, instead of just being a blur in the cloud. Then I recommend Ferris for you.
