FIU Review

Introduction
I currently attend FIU and let me tell you it is the best decision I have ever made. Everyone is nice and informative. The class work is great and being in Miami there is host of opportunities to get an internship while at school so you can make connections before you graduate.

Campus Life and Social Life
Student life is so diverse at FIU. Our student government funds and sponsors over 650 student organizations anywhere from the Archer Club to the Shooting Club, to University Gospel Choir, anything. Right now one of my biggest achievements since being at FIU is that I brought in Pablo Francisco for a free comedy show. Free events like these happen very frequently on campus. Academics
Academics at this university is a part of the AAU, which is the American Association of Universities and there are only 62 universities in this assoc. with the likes of Duke, Harvard, big schools like that and the academics here is top notch. We’re not just a research institution, we are an institution that is balanced.

Student Body
The city of Miami is a large urban city. So there is always something to do either on South Beach, Coconut Grove or Downtown.

In Closing...
My philosophy is that if you study hard and work hard, then you can go out and play hard.
