It's small. Don't go here if you want a big college atmosphere. This is like boarding school.

Campus Life and Social Life
Depending on you major and activities, you can probably find something to do. For example a theater major who doesnt play sports and is a member of a frat will have fun. In contrast, a biology major, member of the swim team, and member of a sorority does not.
Campus is beautiful. National landmark for Frank Lloyd Wright arch. Academics
This school is the place for a quality education. Professors ONLY. no TAs. Largest class around 35 students. Workload is ridiculous. Because of the small class sizes and the availiblity of help... they pile it on.

Student Body
very small campus. 2000 undergraduate. very limited party scene. Dry campus and very strict about it. Volleyball games are fun. Many people leave campus on the weekend to go to Tampa or Orlando for a better party scene. 2 major bars in the area (both kinda trashy).

In Closing...
Lakeland, FL is a cute little town if you are retired. If you want parties and football... go to UF.
