Lots of Rich Kids

Introduction
Life at GW differs depending on who you hang out with. There are many different groups of people at GW. There are people who go out every night of the week. Go to clubs every night. There are people who never go out, just hang out. It’s kind of hard to at first find people that you know you want to be with. Because if you look at it, sometimes the people are scary at first. They come off pretty not nice. You gotta look for it but eventually you will find people that you like to hang out with.

Campus Life and Social Life
There are two different dorms for freshman. One dorm is where most people stay, it’s called Thurston and it is a very intense environment. There are a lot of people, there’s like 6 girls in one room and it is one of the most promiscuous dorms in the country. If you like to party all the time that’s the dorm to stay in and actually when I was a freshman I stayed in Hova, which is the other dorm, which is smaller. And it’s a friendlier environment; it’s for people who don’t like to be loud all the time. It’s a much friendlier environment and I’m glad I stayed there and I made good friends that I’ve keep through senior year. Academics
The typical GW student is a girl who is loaded. We’re talking so rich you wouldn’t believe. Which are lot of people are to go to this school because it’s really expensive. They walk around and they don’t really look at anyone. They keep heads up; they don’t hold doors open for people. You know they were Prada socks and they’re very superficial. It’s kind of hard to get around those people because they’re very unfriendly and it is the majority of people at this school. Some people here are princes from other countries. Although it is also very diverse. There’s just a large population of people from New York and New Jersey who are very wealthy and just have a distorted view of reality.Since we’re in a city you can get away from that and find other people who are normal.

Student Body
You know it’s a city campus so its kind of one building is a school building and the next building is a government building. But it’s nice because, it’s not like living in a closed environment. You can get off and go to the city. It’s 5 square blocks of campus and there are two courtyards that do have grass and stuff, which is common for a lot of city schools. But they do try to make it comfortable and they do a lot of like landscaping and stuff here. So it is a nice environment.
