Georgia Institute of Technology

Introduction
To be prepared for Georgia Tech, you need to be able to handle large amounts of work and push yourself beyond your limits. I chose Tech because of its difficult workload, excellent academics and affordable cost. You should stay away from Tech if you're lazy and not willing to endure the many challenges you will definitely face. Nevertheless its a great school, I love it here.

Campus Life and Social Life
The worst part is that sometimes you may want to go out but you have a lot of homework you need to complete. But if you manage your time you'll be able to do work while maintaining social events with your friends. The best part is that if your busy you don't have to worry because everyone else is busy too. Sporting events are awesome because there is so much pride and its a great way to relax. Weekends are relaxing yet you need to do work for the most part. Advertisement
Academics
All the schools and colleges are great at Tech, although some have more stringent requirements than others. You will definitely be learning a lot of material and will be expected to be able to understand many concepts. However the professors teach you to think rather than memorizing facts and equations. Regardless of your major you will have a lot of work to do from Problem sets to papers to projects and anything of the sort. The great thing is tat you'll never feel like you're the only one who has a ton of work. Professors are extremely knowledgeable of their courses and frequently are the authors of the course textbook(s). They don't baby you. You need to take initiative because you will not be spoon fed anything. There are no easy majors or classes, although some are not as challenging in terms of technical depth like Management. The easiest class is Health but its still a lot of work.

Student Body
The student body is pretty cool, people are really smart but not jerks about it. People are pretty open and there's definitely something for everyone.

In Closing...
In closing I feel like Tech is a great school with a specialized education in technology but a very rigorous curriculum. It's one of the top public and engineering schools in the nation. You will have many challenges but it will definitely help you grow. Personally I think Tech is a great school but its NOT FOR EVERYONE! Its a real commitment.
