The perspective of a normal smart guy.

Rating: 2.3/5 (3 ratings)
Introduction
Any student who is looking to have fun shouldn't come to school here. You talk to people who go to school here and they'll say things like "School's tough but if you're a normal guy you can have fun." Thats not true. You either fail because you're constantly wasted or fail because the teaches, TA's, and support system sucks. Don't go to school here.

Campus Life and Social Life
There is very little partying unless you're greek, in which case, you'll party too much. The greek guys get wasted on random week nights constantly and have lower than normal GPA's. There are very few girls. Everyone knows the 3:7 girls to guys ratio but it's even worse than that. The few girls that are here are extremely unattractive, nerdy, bitchy girls.

Academics
The only redeeming quality that GT possesses is a reputation for academic excellence. But if you plan on doing any kind of post-grad schooling that doesn't matter. No one cares where you went to undergrad. And the classes are so difficult that your grades will suffer and affect your chances of getting into a decent grad school. If you are smart and enjoy partying and having fun with normal people, don't come here. Go to a school that is less difficult and get a 4.0 and have fun while doing it. I thought the people who told me it was ridiculously hard were just dumb people who didn't know what it meant to work hard. I know what it means to work hard. I don't mind working hard. This place sucks

Student Body
Everyone is asian, indian, or really weird. Don't come here.

In Closing...
Don't ever come to school here. Unless you enjoy Halo more than spending time with girls.
