This Sucks

Introduction
The reason I chose Georgia Tech was because I wanted to go to a good school, a reputable one with good engineering, and I though this was the place for me. When I came for visits it seemed like a good place and the people seemed nice. Man, I was wrong. If you want to get a decent education but still be able to have a lot of fun while you're in college, don't go here.

Campus Life and Social Life
I'm in a frat here and that's pretty much the only reason why I can have fun. There is nothing else here unless you are a geek or an Asian. There are multiple video game parties and what not set up by the Intstitute, but everything else sucks. The girls here, what few of them we have, are bitches. The weekends here can be good if you can get off campus, get away for the weekend and go visit other colleges. When I visit other colleges the difference between them and us is insane. There is nothing wild and crazy here. Girls don't get naked, and alcohol always runs out. If you're not Greek you don't have fun. Advertisement
Academics
The academics here are extremly good. If you just want to work and get out of here and be able to get a good job this is the place to go. But if you just want to do the normal amount of work for college this is not where you want to be. The Aerospace department is extremly hard. The professors here pretty much suck cause you can never get one that speaks English and same goes for the T.A.'s. There is hardly a point to go to class because you can't understand what they say or what they write on the board. Remember how they said you won't have homework in college? That was a lie. And it's extremly hard homework. The recomended guideline that Tech gives for work outside of class is for every 1 hour of class you have you should put in 2 hours of work outside of that time. Seriously insane.

Student Body
The typical student here is someone who sits in there dorm room and plays Halo or Counterstrike or one of those other stupid games. They don't do anyhting, they don't socialize. Most of the student body here, or so it seems, is from some foreign country and you can't make a bond with them. People here are just really into being geeks.

In Closing...
Georgia Tech blows. Don't come here if you're smart and still like to party. That's what I did and now I'm stuck here.
