A Great School All-Around

Rating: 5/5 (1 ratings)
Introduction
Don''t choose HPU just for the glitz and glam...really look at the academics and the social life and see if you truly fit there. A lot of people think they can sacrifice liking it to go to a school that nice. That's a big mistake. If you don't feel like you could see yourself here, truly think about that.

Campus Life and Social Life
It's amazing all around. The school does so much for you, from organizing events almost every weekend to giving you tons of free stuff all year long.
Academics
The school's prestige is really on the rise. While, from my understanding, it wasn't really as academically challenging five years ago, it is really taking off. With new specialized schools being built like the Phillips School of Business and the Qubein School of Communications, professors in all fields from prestigious schools are beginning to look at High Point. We're getting great new professors and already have many great ones and that is truly what defines the rigor of the education.

Student Body
I mean, there are people that could fit into every stereotypical cliche here at HPU but I'd definitely say that the majority of the people of rather preppy. The school is mostly full of northerners but I never really feel out of place or anything being from NC.

In Closing...
It's a great school and I'd try to get anyone to come here!
