Hofstra Pride

Introduction
Hofstra is an amazing shcool, I was worried about attending for a while as the reviews online did not exactly have the best advice. But after being here for my first semester, I'm glad to say i LOVE hofstra and I attended this school. If your idea of fun is studying all day and never socializing then hofstra is not for you, but if you enjoy the beach, city, night life and some work to keep you leveled then hofstra is the school of you. :)

Campus Life and Social Life
Partying in hofstra is one of the best. seriously. with bars close to campus and numerous events going on theres always something happening. Sports on campus was bigger than i actually thought they would be, theres always a game going on and lots of people attend. Hofstra has many clubs as well, I havent had the chance to join any in my first semester but i will join a few next semester for sure. Lots of people go home for the weekends but theres always a really good amount of people that decide to stay and make the most of what hofstra has to offer in its nighlife. Advertisement
Academics
All the professors are great and inspiring. I only had one bad professor this year and she wasn't even a real 'hofstra professor' as this was her first semester at hofstra from teaching in nassau. But over all the professors understand you as long as you pur the effort into the class, and the workload isnt as bad as i expected it to be.

Student Body
The student body most of the time makes me feel proud to be a hofstra student. Everyones always dressed nicely and you'd rarely see someone walking around in pajamas or dressed like a 'liberal arts' student.
