Stoners and Nature Lovers

Rating: 1.1/5 (45 ratings)
Introduction
if you like beautiful beaches, redwood forests, and gloomy rainy weather, you will love this area. If you like smoking weed, you will looove this area. I chose this school becasue i was stoner and weed here is twice as dank and half as expensive as anywhere else in America--the world, probably. If you don't enjoy partying and don't like hippies, you might not find a lot to do around here.

Campus Life and Social Life
Social life is like most colleges, I guess. Lots of parties and stuff. It's not a huge party school really... more smoking than drinking. But there's plenty of drinking going on. There isn't much in the way of sports or fraternity life here.

Academics
Almost all the classes are somehow liberally biased. Particularly the philosophy and sciences departments. They have a way of alienating everyone who isn't extremely left wing. We aren't particularly well known for our academics, but as far as I can tell, the classes are pretty good and you're going to learn stuff. I'm a music major so that's the only department I can talk about with any authority. The music department is really cool. Really laid back and helpful and knowledgable professors. Another big plus is the small class sizes. The professors here can have a one on one relationship with the students that you don't get at a lot of schools.

Student Body
Students here are... stoners. Lots and lots of stoners here. Mostly the artsy left wing type. Mostly from various parts of california.

In Closing...
The taco truck on H street near Tin Can Mailman is excellent.
