Introduction
It has excellent professors and the student body is very intelligent and motivated. The financial aid is also outstanding. The food is decent adn the housing is above average. The greek community is the life blood of the campus, and we have a diverse group of students from different backgrounds, although most of the kids are from Chicago or a suburb of Chicago. We still have students (like myself) who come from out of state. Most of the out of state kids come to study biology or theater, which are two of our most famous departments. The professors in those schools are amazing.

Campus Life and Social Life
Social life revolves around Greek Life. Without the Greeks there would be virtually no parties on the weekends. Despite this, or because of it, the administration hates Greeks. It is almost like a bad eighties movie. The greeks are great though, and do a lot for the campus and the surrounding community. We have some clubs but the selection is limited due to the small student body. However, you get to know a lot of people and friends are easy to make and keep due to the small size, so there is an even trade off. If you don't like to party on the weekends, there is stuff to do around town. Academics
Biology, Nursing, Political Science and Theater are all renown. Most of our other majors are at least satisfactory if not way above average. If you are interested in Business stay away, it is our weakest department.

Student Body
The student body is pretty conservative outside of the Greek community. A lot of the independent students don't do a lot of partying, but those who do go to Greek houses and go crazy.

In Closing...
This is a decent school with smart kids and excellent, compassionate Professors. It's pricy but the financial aid packages take care of a lot of that. The one review I saw on this website concerning this school before posting my own was way off. We have great academics, and to get in you need to excel in high school. We mostly only accept honor students with above average ACT or SAT scores so it's important to do well if you plan on attendind. Also, the work load can be brutal.
