Hot Chicks, Not Druggy

Introduction
I like the opportunities available at IU. Not just the business school, but also being able to take some psychology classes, be able to be involved in some sports, have a Big Ten team to cheer on when we’re good.

When I came to campus it is an absolutely beautiful campus. The arboretum on a sunny day is just gorgeous. The girls lay out there. The girls here are gorgeous as well.

The business school of course is just top in the nation, so that’s what initially drew me here.

I would definitely recommend living in the dorms freshman year to meet people to start. After first year most students decide to live off campus.

I definitely got sick of the food by the end of freshman year.

Campus Life and Social Life
IU’s a very diverse campus. You’ll find the preppy folk, you’ll find the skater folk, you’ll find all different types of people. There’s so many people at IU, you’re gonna find somebody that you can connect with.

The dating scene is very bar oriented.

For the most part liquor takes up this campus and beer pong. It’s mostly an alcoholic campus rather than a druggy campus. Advertisement
Academics
The business school puts a lot of students into the top jobs in the nation. It’s very difficult to succeed in, though it is not incredibly difficult to get into initially.

Once you are accepted there are quite a few difficult classes that you will have to pass to get a diploma and quite a few students will drop out through the course of their tenure at IU. If you stay and you make it, it is a very valuable degree to have on your resume.

Student Body
We’re not just students. We’re very smart, we’re very accomplished, but we’re not just students. We know how to have a good time on the side. We’re kids that you might want to go have a beer with after work or something like that.

The investment banking workshop is one of the great assets of the business school. Typically 35 students are involved in this workshop. You have to have a minimum 3.5 GPA and you have to be a very good interviewer and well accomplished student here. But it helps connect you to a lot of the famous alumni that are involved in investment banking. It’s really done a great job for IU’s post graduate opportunity.

ICORE is one of the other benefits of the business school here. It’s a program where you get to take the four core business classes. You take a marketing, strategy, a finance, and a operations component. And you get to try and see what each different career choice has to offer.

It just gives you a great base for what type of majors you might want to take. You take this your first semester junior year. A very very intense semester because not everyone’s good at all parts of business so there might be some that you’re good at and some you’re not.

In Closing...
Our football team unfortunately is not tops in nation such as the business school is. Mostly what football teams entail is tailgating before the games. Meeting a bunch of people in fields right outside the stadium. Most of us never make it into the game.

Basketball is big here. We always have been known as great basketball school.

Soccer is great at this school.

We do win pretty much every year the NCCA, which is amazing.

There are a great many internships that are offered through this school. Most students have the opportunity to get one after their junior year in the business school.

There are a lot of internships that are offered and great companies come in to hire students and pay them for internships after their junior year.
