Opportunities Galore
IntroductionIndiana University is a school of so many opportunities, such a large school. Bloomington is the perfect college town. It’s a town that wouldn’t survive without the college. It’s a town that is all college oriented and everything about it is like the college life. If you’re looking for a place that’s just for a college, Bloomington’s the spot.
Campus Life and Social LifeThe campus is very large. But its not like you can’t walk everywhere. Most of the classes are 10 maybe 15min walk. You get 15 minutes in between classes, so there’s nothing that’s impossible to get to. Teachers are understanding if you’re coming from one class that’s on one side of the campus to another. It’s a huge campus, but doing different things makes it a smaller campus.

AcademicsAt the university you are required as a freshman to live in the dorms, but it’s not that bad. Dorm life is fun; it’s something that everyone I feel should do anyway just to experience.
It’s a good experience, you meet new people, you have dorm activities, you have different events with your neighborhood, you have like 7 different neighborhoods around campus….so it’s a good life. Dorm life is ok.
Student BodyMy first roommate we just did not get along at all. That happens. You go potluck and sometimes you end up with people you don’t expect to end up with. If it doesn’t work out with the roommate you’re first with you can always request another one and they’ll take care of it.
In Closing...The school has so many organizations, anything you want from Asian club to intramural sports, we have everything. Whatever you want to do as a college student you can do here at IU.
